We invite all Arabana members to our upcoming Community Workshop to discuss and review changes to the Arabana Aboriginal Corporation (AAC) Rule Book. This workshop follows the Rulebook Review Workshop held on January 23, 2023, where community members, AAC staff, and directors agreed that further review was necessary.

How to Participate:
We're looking for a diverse and fair representation from all Arabana families, including men, women, elders, and youth. We are aiming for participants to be:
Even representation from all Apical families
A balanced representation of men and women
A fair balance of Elders and youth

Travel assistance forms are available to download below, and also available to collect from the office at Arabana House, 48 Flinders Terrace, Port Augusta.
We hope to see a wide range of community members at this important workshop. Your input is crucial to ensuring our rule book reflects the needs and values of all Arabana people.
Terms of Travel Assistance:
Eligibility: Only those living more than 70km from Port Augusta are eligible for travel/accommodation assistance.
Maximum Payment Amounts:
Traveling more than 70km within SA: Up to $150 for transport assistance.
Traveling more than 100km within SA: Up to $150 per night (up to 1 night) for accommodation and $150 for transport assistance.
Traveling from interstate: Up to $150 per night (up to 2 nights) for accommodation and $300 for transport assistance.
Payment Method: Assistance will be provided by a Visa debit gift card, given directly after the workshop.
Requirements: Vehicle registration and fuel receipts or receipts from bus/flight tickets must be presented to receive the travel assistance Visa debit card.
To Request Travel Assistance: Please fill out the travel assistance request form and return it to us by the registration deadline 20th September 2024. You must attend the workshop for the whole day; failure to do so will result in no travel assistance being given.
