Shaping Our Future: Arabana's Next Chapter

Yesterday, Arabana Aboriginal Corporation (AAC) took a significant step forward in shaping our future with the commencement of our new strategic plan.

We were joined in Port Augusta by Brendan Littlechild and Arthur Konstad from Indigenous Workforce Consulting, along with Marcus Tanke from Many Rivers. The day was dedicated to an alignment workshop where our ranger and operations teams came together to discuss our vision, aspirations, and the path ahead.

This workshop was more than just a meeting — it was an opportunity to align our goals and set a clear direction for the years to come. The conversations were rich, honest and passionate, the ideas were forward thinking, and there was a collective energy that truly reflected our commitment to the growth and sustainability of Arabana Country.

The strategic plan we are developing is not just a document; it’s a roadmap that will guide us in preserving our culture, enhancing our community’s well being, and ensuring that our initiatives are both impactful and sustainable.

We’re grateful for the expertise and support from Indigenous Workforce Consulting and Many Rivers, and we look forward to the continued collaboration as we bring this plan to life.

Stay tuned as we continue to share updates on our journey towards a stronger, more vibrant future for Arabana Country and its people.
